I just got my custom pair of Encore Monitor with dual 8.5-inch woofers. Wow. These sound incredible. They surpassed my expectations. I have a pair of Pendragons in my main listening room and needed a smaller pair of Tektons for my library listening room. I wanted a slightly larger version of the Encore monitors because I didn’t want to deal with a subwoofer. These are just perfect. Deep rich bass and clear beautiful highs and midrange. I’ve only been running the Encores for a couple of days but I think they are superior to my much bigger Pendragons. No need to add a subwoofer. These speakers have a large full range sound. Many thanks to Eric and company for working with me. Just top notch communication at every step of the custom building process.

You need to listen to these speakers not read the specs.These speakers are great they don’t need a sub at all.I have tried lots of amps and many different cord and wires and to tell you the truth once you find the right one its hard to Imagine any speaker sounding better.I have around 12 pr of speakers and these poppy’s really shine.
