I sold my Bowers & Wilkins 685 S2 bookshelf speakers in order to buy the Klipsch RP 600 version 2. When I tested the Klipsch, the sound was very thin, no punch. The imaging was not happening at all. I sent them back and got the TeKtOn Mini Lore monitors. Right out of the box the build quality is amazing. The 8 inch driver is not typical for a bookshelf speaker. The sound is aggressive, fast, and punchy. I can’t get much past 11 o’clock on the Sansui AU-719’s volume control. (Super efficient) Imaging is clear and wide. Bass is spectacular! I experienced no distortion. Buy these TeKtons and don’t waste your time like I did with the other brands. You will not be disappointed! Nothing comes close at this price point!!!

"I can think of a number of reasons to acquire the Mini-Lore Monitor. Being in the market for an affordable, highly sensitive/efficient stand mount comes to mind, as does not having to raise the volume past 11 o’clock. For those with low-power gear and for those embarking on the wonderful journey that is tube/valve, the Mini-Lore Monitors make for an inviting proposition, both sonically and economically."
