    Description

Tekton Design stands alone as the only loudspeaker manufacturer crafting luxury-grade fidelity priced in the value category of hi-fi.

This loudspeaker outperforms comparable models from Magico, Sonus Faber, YG Acoustics, and Wilson Audio, even those priced above $85,000, in both sonic quality and measured performance.

The Tekton Design Symphony prioritizes performance without compromise. We believe stunning fidelity doesn’t have to come from a loudspeaker in the luxury category (Sonus Faber, Magico, Wilson, Focal, etc.) with a museum-worthy price tag. How can we say this? How have we produced a loudspeaker that surpasses the performance of luxury models priced at $85,000 per pair? We do it through our patented intellectual property.

“I have lost track of the phone calls and email correspondence from audiophile clients informing me of Double Impacts, Moabs, Encores, and Ulfberhts outperforming the most popular competitor’s models priced from $10,000 to $100,000 per pair.” – Eric Alexander, inventor and audio designer

“Every audiophile should expect perfect midrange! I’ve been inventing and designing loudspeakers for over 30 years and have only heard the words ‘perfect midrange’ from the mouths of discerning audiophiles in reference to our patented tweeter arrays.” – Eric Alexander, inventor and audio designer

The Tekton Design Symphony elevates our renowned Encore concept to a whole new level through the introduction of vertical symmetry in its design. Our patented midrange tweeter array and premium European-crafted mid-woofers deliver an unparalleled sonic performance – smooth, lifelike, and breathtakingly detailed; i.e., perfect midrange.

I’m a musician with a master’s degree in organ and piano performance, and I’ve worked as a piano technician for 33 years—specializing in Steinway pianos and high-end concert preparation. For the past 26 years, I’ve served as the concert technician for the Utah Symphony. Over the years, I’ve developed a finely tuned ear for live music and how it interacts with acoustic spaces.

I’ve always been intrigued by audiophile sound, but I dismissed it as a luxury I could never afford. It seemed like a pursuit reserved for those with deep pockets—until a mutual friend introduced me to Eric Alexander. That introduction changed everything.

After reading the glowing reviews, I decided to purchase a pair of Tekton Encores. Then Eric released a variation he calls the Symphony—and I was all in.

I’ve now had my pair of Symphonies for over two years. My setup is simple, yet highly capable: a Bryston 4B3 amp paired with a Bryston BR-20 preamp with integrated DAC and streamer.

And speaking of rooms—mine is a 10’x12’ basement bedroom with a 7.5’ ceiling. These speakers are 6 feet tall! I joke with Eric that I’m the poster child for putting large speakers in a small space. But after careful positioning of both the speakers and the listening spot, the results are nothing short of magical.

When I turn off the lights, reality fades. I’m transported to concert halls, outdoor amphitheaters, intimate jazz clubs, and soaring cathedrals. The soundstage extends far beyond the physical walls of the room, wrapping fully around the listening position. More than once, people have asked me where I’ve hidden the surround speakers—of course, there aren’t any.

The stereo image is rich and three-dimensional. I love listening to big band music, where I can pinpoint the location of each instrument or section on the stage. Soloists and vocals step forward into the room with uncanny realism. The percussion has weight and nuance—you can feel the pressure of the drumheads. With organ music I can actually sense the space in the cathedral.

What sets Eric Alexander’s Tekton speakers apart is just how real they sound. There’s an unmistakable liveness to the experience. It doesn’t just sound like a great recording—it feels like you’re truly there. This seems to be a recurring observation from those who own or review Tekton speakers.

I’ve had the opportunity to experience systems costing 10 to 15 times what I have invested. They were generally impressive, but I still like mine better!

If you’re like me—looking to build an incredible system on a budget in a small room—reach out to Eric and ask about the setup I’m enjoying. You’re more than welcome to come hear my Symphonies for yourself. Prepare to be amazed.
