“The Tekton Nebos are like supercharged Double Impacts, with a midrange that is detailed, rich, and smooth, and bass that is full, detailed, and punchy.” – Richard Willie, Stereo Times
Mount Nebo is the largest mountain on the Wasatch Range in Utah. Tekton loudspeakers are made at the foot of this mountain, which represents the power and majesty of this beautiful state.
The Nebo has many of the same sound qualities of the Moab, but in the size of the Double Impact! Expect the lively, dynamic, very energetic sound of a live concert in your listening room.

Description
High-end loudspeaker manufacturers have become very good at making visually striking products that are undoubtedly works of visual art… but unfortunately, those looks don’t necessarily translate to better sound. At Tekton Design, our emphasis has always been to create the highest-performing, yet cost-effective loudspeakers conceivable – all of which are solidly grounded in electro-acoustical physics. We reject the notion that high-end hi-fi needs to be high-priced, and boldly ask: Do you want a pretty pair of museum pieces that put out “good enough” sound? Or are you ready for loudspeakers that produce a level of fidelity positively guaranteed to rival or often exceed the biggest and most expensive brands out there at a fraction of the cost?
The Nebo is named after the largest mountain on the Wasatch Range. Its capabilities of reproducing the experience of live music rival those of any loudspeaker on the market, toe to toe.

I specifically chose the Nebos from an audiophile point of view (POV), not a multimedia/cinema POV. Specifically, I liked that the Nebos go down to 20-Hz, negating the need for a subwoofer/additional crossover.
These speakers do not disappoint. Highs are wide and spacious, lovely sound-stage. Lows are very deep and rumbly. Metal, rock, EDM, EBM, industrial, techno, DubStep… The bass does not disappoint. That said, mellower music, from Harry Chapin’s “Bottom Line Encore” to Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker”, which is dynamically very loud and very soft, sound fantastic. I think almost any style of music would be beautifully represented here.
For reference, I am coming from Polk “Signature Elite ES60”. These were fabulous for the price, but these Nebos are capable of much deeper lows, and even the mid- and high-frequency tones are vastly improved on Nebos, even though the Polk’s have similar top-end specs.
My amps are a Willsenton R8 with EL34 tubes (audio), and a Schiit Lyr-3 preamp (stock 6SN7)/Schiit Aegir-1 amp (television/multimedia). The Nebos range and sound are fantastic with both.
Highly recommended.

So I have had my Nebo speakers long enough now and have really had some time to work with them and the amazing sound stage and midrange is mind blowing. If you are looking for a speaker that is capable of producing what I can only describe as a wall of sound in your listening environment these are it. Im my living room with vaulted ceilings they sound great, in my sonically balanced video room they are a mad man. In my bed room they sound great. I venture to say wherever I set these they will produce a huge sound stage and mids that are stunning as well as the fact that they really don’t need a sub if you don’t want one. These speakers are not too bright and everything seems to hit just right. Expect them to be a little picky about how they are towed and it did take some fun time to find the perfect spot for them also recommend you run them a bit off the wall. I removed my feet completely and platformed them and the change was even more amazing. I prefer them that way just make sure you have stable and correct platform for them.
I have in my lifetime of 59 years owned some of the best speakers ever made at many prices some 4x the cost of these speakers for just one. I can only say this out of every speaker I have ever owned or heard these are simply one of the most natural sounding speakers ever. Everything sounds like a concert and imaging is at any volume though typically I find they like to run with 10-20w through them they will run much higher but, this seems to be the sweet spot for my living room or whole house with that much going in trust me they are quite loud and when I am seated in living room I typically will reduce them even more to aroud 5-10 w.
Now service. I had a tweeter go out for some reason but Eric immediately got one out to me so I could fix the one that was out. No arguments, nothing but get my customer listening again as soon as possible action. This is actually not the norm for may speaker companies and I found service after the sale to be next level.
So in short yes I can totally recommend these speakers and in fact do not think you will find anything close to their price point that comes close. I don’t think there is anything 4x there price point that will honestly just blow them away some might (yes might compete) but, these speakers can and do hold their own. I have not heard the moabs but, the nebos very very impressive.

I have had my pair of Nebo speakers for 3 months now and I am very happy with the smoothness, clarity and punch of the set integrated with my McIntosh stack. It was very easy to set them up and have them disappear in a seamless soundstage. I enjoy hours upon hours of fatigueless listening. As Eric promised, the midrange they deliver is something else! They are an affordable audiophile’s delight!

Beyond Amazing !!! I will write a full and complete review very soon. I am on my 3rd week breaking them in and every week they get better every day. The upper MTM Array takes longer than the woofers to break in. The detail and soundstage is scary good. I am upgrading from Pendragons. I purchased the Towers and a (custom made to match the towers) center channel. PEOPLE…It took 8-10 months to get my order. My order was custom. Even the towers were made taller. I feel that it was a well worth wait for my speakers. Eric had to design and build from scratch including the crossovers and he created “magic”. More to come…..
