Machined aluminum footers are a simple, effective way to isolate your loudspeaker from the floor. Use speaker spikes on carpeted floors and padded flat footers for hardwood and other flat surfaces.

Kuyler –
These are fantastic footers. I own a set of the spikes, and a set of the flat footers. Both are very solid and beefy. I’ve been using the spikes on carpet to anchor my Lores to the concrete underneath, and it has definitely made them more stable. I recently transitioned to a couple solid wood plinths with the spikes “stabbed” into the top of the wood. The speakers are now decoupled from the concrete, but getting the “belly” of each speaker off the carpet is a nice change. When I transition to hard floors, I plan to install the flat footers on the underside of each plinth to gain even more floor separation. Whether you plan to use these on carpet or hard floors, they are a great upgrade to some already amazing Tekton speakers, especially if you want to sturdy up the stance and protect the finish on the bottom side of the cabinets. Also, $25 for 8 spikes/footers is super affordable. I will be putting these on ALL of my floor standing speakers!
